Kurz-Biografie

Isabel Kienzle ist wissenschaftliche Mitarbeiterin am Institut für Deutsches, Europäisches und Internationales Recht bei Prof. Dr. Anuscheh Farahat, LL.M (Berkeley). Sie studierte Rechtswissenschaften an der Albert-Ludwigs-Universität Freiburg sowie an der Universidad Autónoma de Madrid und absolvierte eine Zusatzausbildung im internationalen, europäischen und ausländischen Recht. Während des Studiums arbeitete sie als wissenschaftliche Hilfskraft am Institut für Medien- und Informationsrecht bei Prof. Dr. Boris Paal. Von 2019 bis 2021 war sie Rechtsreferendarin am Landgericht München I und arbeitete dabei unter anderem in einer migrationsrechtlichen Kanzlei und für das European Center for Constitutional and Human Rights (ECCHR) in Berlin.

Ihre Forschungsschwerpunkte liegen im nationalen und internationalen Migrationsrecht, dem Menschenrechtsschutz im Kontext von Grenzregimen und dem Beweisrecht vor menschenrechtlichen Institutionen.

Short bio

Isabel Kienzle is a research assistant at the Institute for German, European and International Law with Prof. Dr. Anuscheh Farahat, LL.M (Berkeley). She studied law at the Albert-Ludwigs-Universität Freiburg as well as the Universidad Autónoma de Madrid and completed additional training in International, European and Foreign Law. During her studies she worked as a student assistant at the Institute for Media and Information Law with Prof. Dr. Boris Paal. From 2019 to 2021, she was a legal clerk at the Landgericht München I, working, among others, in a law firm specialising in migration law and for the European Center for Constitutional and Human Rights (ECCHR) in Berlin.

Her research focuses on national and international migration law, the protection of human rights in the context of border regimes and the law of evidence before human rights institutions.
